Head of Enterprise Sales

Short Summary:

This is a newly created national role, reporting to the Managing Director. A Head of Enterprise Sales is needed to accelerate business opportunities for our healthcare software solutions in private hospitals as well as aged care groups.

Over time the role will have some account managers reporting to it but in the first instance it’s a standalone role that will utilise the expertise of the product subject matter experts to assist with pre-sales.

This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing and nurturing customers through the pipeline and effectively demonstrating the value of Magentus products to our existing and potential customers.

What about the role:

Client Engagement and Needs Assessment:

  • Identify and understand client needs by engaging with multiple stakeholders within healthcare organisations to tailor solutions effectively.

Sales Cycle Management:

  • Navigate complex sales cycles by managing all stages from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

Regulatory Compliance Communication:

  • Articulate how the software meets healthcare regulatory standards, addressing compliance and security concerns effectively.

Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to foster trust and long-term partnerships.

Product Demonstration and Negotiation:

  • Conduct product demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and close sales by highlighting the software’s value proposition.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Oversee and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.

About you:

  • Ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Analytical Ability:

  • Capability to assess client needs and tailor solutions accordingly, understanding business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Relationship Building:

  • Expertise in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers across various levels of an organisation.

Negotiation Skills:

  • Proficiency in negotiating complex contracts and handling objections confidently.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, trends, and the specific challenges faced by healthcare organisations in Australia.

Collaboration:

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Adaptability:

  • Flexibility & openness to changes in team dynamics and market conditions.

Emotional intelligence:

What experience or qualifications do I need:

  • Tertiary education in Business or Healthcare Management.
  • 5+ years of relevant growth and business development experience, particularly in healthcare.
  • Software or medical sales experience highly regarded.
