This role is a 9 month fixed term contract
Short Summary:
Reporting to the Test Lead, this position will be responsible for supporting Magentus’ overall Quality Assurance function, ensuring that all products produced meet strict quality control measures and contribute to the evolution of those measures in line with best practice. This position will play a role in providing expertise advice to continually shape and improve the overall testing approach and will work as part of a team that delivers, maintains, and supports test artefacts in support of software and systems produced by Magentus APAC.
Operating as a Test Analyst, the position will be responsible for developing and supporting the testing framework and will apply best practice to delivering quality software.

What about the role:
- Review business requirements documents and design specifications to identify gaps and provide feedback.
- Produce testing documentation through various phases of the software development life cycle.
- Create test cases/scripts.
- Perform manual functional, integration and regression testing with an opportunity for automation experience.
- Advise on progress and proactively escalate any issues and risks.
- Identify and implement improvements to testing methodology and processes.
- Assist with maintaining the company procedural documents in accordance with the ISO9001 certification standard.
- Other duties as required.
Operating as a Scientific Test Analyst:
- Be part of the Business as Usual (BAU) and Project releases to Pathology customers.
- Maintain existing frameworks and support execution of regression testing.
- Develop and execute tests throughout the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC).
- Complement existing test activities through the scheduling, execution, and review of scripts.
What experience or qualifications do I need:
- 4+ years in a similar position in health technology.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- Experience working in an agile software development team environment.
- A high level demonstrated experience in test execution smoke, regression and integration testing, execution, and reporting.
