St John of God Subiaco Hospital has become the first WA hospital in the St John of God Health Care network to go live with Magentus’s Charm Evolution® system.
Patients receiving cancer treatment at the hospital’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre are benefiting from a pilot of the market-leading platform, which connects all aspects of a patient’s care into a single digital record.
Magentus’s oncology information management system is the hospital’s first centralised oncology patient record combining treatment plans, appointment scheduling and simplified reporting for all outpatient consultations and same-day and overnight inpatient services.
The Charm Evolution® system has been introduced to help improve chemotherapy treatment delivery and consistently provide safe patient care.
It offers clinicians remote access to relevant clinical information and streamlines clerical tasks, reducing the risk of error and enabling more time for patient care.
Clinicians and pharmacists have clear oversight of all prescriptions and treatments, with robust data also being collected for deeper insights and long-term clinical trials.
Charm Evolution® recently became the first oncology system to integrate with My Health Record, helping services provide complete continuity of care.
